We are Aliens in this world — Weekly Encouragement – April 19, 2020

(This Flower was not made to live in this enemy territory – it is an alien in this place.)

Greetings Friend,

       “…To those who reside as aliens…who are chosen according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, by the sanctifying work of the Spirit, to obey Jesus Christ and be sprinkled with His blood; May Grace and Peace be yours in the fullest measure. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be Born Again to a Living Hopethrough the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to obtain an inheritance which is imperishable and undefiled and will not fade away, reserved in Heaven for you, who are Protected by the Power of God through Faith for a Salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.” (1Peter 1:1-5)

       We are aliens in this place – our citizenship is in Heaven.

       God chose us in Christ before the foundation of the world.

       Holy Spirit of God Sanctifies us, not our trying harder (and failing).

       Obedience is to the voice of Christ, not just the Bible.

       We are Born Again! Do you recognize the newness?

       Born to a Living Hope! A Hope that will not disappoint!

       With an inheritance that is sure; it will not fade away! You will not lose it!!

       In Heaven. Pray like this, “Thy Kingdom come on earth, as it is in Heaven.”

       Protected (even from corona) by the Power of God! Do you believe it?

       Salvation is ours starting now, and for all time.

       So here’s the Encouragement: Don’t quit until this is all settled in your heart. It is all Truth; even confirmed by other Scriptures. (That should keep you busy for a little while!)
