Kingdom Encouragement – June 19, 2019

Greetings,

You know the scripture, “But seek first His Kingdom and His Righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” (Matthew 6:33)

This comes after a conversation about not being so concerned about the things of this world – what we eat & drink and what we wear.  Instead, we are to make God’s Kingdom our priority. Jesus began His preaching with, “Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand. (Matthew 4:17)  Repent – turn from this world to His Kingdom.

The Good News of the Gospel is that we get Heaven NOW by Faith when we turn to Jesus.  When we live a worldly life we get lots of worry and anxiety, but when we live from the Kingdom of God we can rest in Peace, Joy, and Righteousness in His Holy Spirit. (Romans 14:17)  So turn to Jesus – turn your whole life over to Jesus.

Here’s the Encouragement: “Do not be afraid and anxious, little flock, for it is your Father’s Good Pleasure to give you the Kingdom. (Luke 12:32)  Our Heavenly Father has chosen Gladly to give us His Peace, His Joy, and His Righteousness as we walk by Faith listening to the voice of His Spirit!

God Bless,

Dave

  • Jesus offered neither a feel-good theology that airbrushed out any real talk of sin, nor legalistic attitudes of harsh condemnation and judgment.  He came bringing grace and truth at their best and most compelling.

    • Actually, He didn’t bring any theology at all — He removed our sin so we could be in Eternal intimate unity and fellowship with Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Thank you for your comment! God Bless!!
