Hope in Jesus Alone — Weekly Encouragement – October 4, 2020

Greetings Friend,

       My Hope is sure in Jesus – how about you? Did you see any of the “Presidential Debate”? It didn’t seem very Presidential and it certainly wasn’t a debate, but it did demonstrate one of the many reasons my Hope is not in the things of this world.

       “Grace to you and Peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for our sins so that He might RESCUE US FROM THIS PRESENT EVIL AGE, according to the will of our God and Father, to whom be the Glory forevermore. Amen.” (Galatians 1:3-5)

       I have heard and read so much grumbling and complaining (which, by the way, is arrogant and horrible, ungodly sin – Jude 15-16) over covid, the upcoming elections, and the like. There is one answer, and only one answer to “this present evil age” – King Jesus and His Kingdom!

       So, here’s the Encouragement: Let’s shift all our Hope from this world, and put our Hope completely in the Faithful One, Jesus! “The Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, brethren. Amen.”(Galatians 6:18)
