Weekly Encouragement – March 1, 2020

Greetings Friend,

       “Do you not know that you are a temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?”(1Corinthians 3:16)

       “Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God…?” (1Corinthians 6:19)

       Are you struggling with sinful behavior and/or missing the Kingdom Peace and Joy of the Gospel? There is only one way this is happening – you aren’t seeing yourself as God’s Temple; which you are! You “do not know” so your hope is in yourself and the things of this world. We need to see God’s Spirit inside us and put our Hope in Him.

       You will remember from Romans, “and Hope does not disappoint, because the Love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.” (Romans 5:5) You are His Temple! His Spirit is in you! He Loves you with an overwhelming Love!! You can know that – count on it!! Because:

       Here’s the Encouragement: “God is Faithful, through whom you were called into fellowship with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.” (1Corinthians 1:9)
