“Righteousness” is Trusting God

“Righteousness” is Trusting God

Greetings Friend,

“and being fully assured that what God had promised, He was able also to perform.” (Romans 4:21)

Do you know the story? God said that Abraham and his wife Sarai were going to have a son. Now look at this: “Without becoming weak in Faith, he contemplated his own body, now as good as dead since he was about a hundred years old, and the deadness of Sarah’s womb; yet, with respect to the promise of God, he did not waver in unbelief but grew strong in Faith, giving Glory to God,” (Romans 4:19-20)

Is that what “Faith in God” looks like for you? Are you fully assured; is it settled in your heart that no matter what it looks like in the natural, whatever God says is what is True for you? God promises that He will always be faithful to His Word, both written and spoken.

And it is even better than that because when we Trust God like that, “Therefore it was [is] also credited to him [us] as Righteousness.” (Romans 4:22)

So, here’s the Encouragement: Let’s get in God’s Word this year; Let’s listen to His voice this year; and, Let’s walk in Righteousness by Trusting Him for whatever He says and giving Him Glory, no matter what it looks like in the natural.

God bless,

Dave
