Rejoice Always — Weekly Encouragement – August 9, 2020

Greetings Friend,

       “Rejoice always;

       Pray without ceasing;

       In everything Give Thanks;

       For this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” (2Thessalonians 5:16-18)

       Paul goes on to say in 2Thessalonians 5:22, “abstain from every form of evil.” But honestly, what kind of evil would you be interested in or pursuing if you are Rejoicing, Praying, and Giving Thanks to God?

       So, here’s the Encouragement: Fully embrace God’s will for you – Rejoice, Pray, and Give Thanks in everything! In this way you will not entertain evil and you will surely trust God to faithfully answer Paul’s prayer for us: “Now, may the God of Peace Himself sanctify you entirely; and may your spirit, and soul, and body, be preserved complete without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.”(2Thessalonians 5:23)
