Faith Encouragement – June 26, 2019

Luke 18:8 / Psalm 143:8-11

Greetings,

       Jesus said, “when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?” (Luke 18:8)

       This was after He told a parable of a widow seeking justice from a judge who wasn’t responding, but she wasn’t going to give up until she got it because the judge was her only hope.  Is Jesus telling us that Faith is like that – looking to Him, and Him alone, for everything we need in life? What does real Faith look like? What does your faith look like?

       King David was a ‘man after God’s own heart’, let’s look at how he was trusting God: “Let me hear Your lovingkindness in the morning; for I trust in You; teach me the way in which I should walk; for to You I lift up my soul.  Deliver me, O Lord, from my enemies; I take refuge in You. Teach me to do Your will, for You are my God; let Your good Spirit lead me on level ground.  For the sake of Your name O Lord, revive me. In Your righteousness bring my soul out of trouble.” (Psalm 143:8-11)

       So here’s the Encouragement: Let’s step into Faith like that! Lord, draw us into Faith like that!  Abundant Life is found in Faith like that!!
